Nathan Gatt is an Assistant Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) focusing on information security consultancy and IT auditing services. Nathan was awarded a UNESCO Fellowship for Priority Areas (2006-2007) and a Malta Government Scholarship (2006-2007) to pursue his studies and read a full-time Masters Degree in Information Security at Royal Holloway University of London (RHUL) where he was awarded a Distinction. Prior to joining PwC, Nathan worked as an assistant lecturer with the Institute of Information and Communication Technology (IICT) within the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology (MCAST) for four years, and was responsible for the development of a number of Software Development syllabi. He has also worked as a freelance solutions developer providing business & technical consultancy in the Tourism Industry on an online hotel reservations portal for local clients. Nathan is active in a number of special interest groups related to various information security domains. His main interests include web application security, smart cards/tokens, identity and access management.
