Peter has over fifteen years of experience in several areas of Information Security and Assurance and has held senior technical and management positions with organizations in research and consulting. In his current position with Palindrome Technologies he spearheads the technological direction and vision of the company. Furthermore he acts as a trusted advisor for commercial and government organizations and provides consultation in areas such as security policy, architecture and risk management. Peter has been the lead technical expert on various tasks associated with information security and assurance including security risk assessments, standards and requirements development, ISO 17799 and MC/VISA PCI assessments, network security architecture and organizational security strategy. In addition, Peter has been conducting research in the area of Internet Multimedia and Next Generation Networks (IMS/VoIP) and he has been working with domestic and foreign Telecommunications carriers and Fortune 500 companies on identifying security requirements for Next Generation Networks, conducting network assurance testing and product evaluations. He is the co-author of “Securing VoIP Networks, Threats, Vulnerabilities, and Countermeasures” and he has been featured in trade magazines such as Information Security, ZDNET, Forbes, Tech Target, Wired and published papers in industry journals such as IEEE, ACM and IEC. Peter holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from Columbia University, NY and he is a member of ACM and ISSA.
