Vice President and Head of Programme Development for Future Programmes AIRBUS.
Ian Dawkins has nearly twenty years of experience in the aerospace industry covering Program management, Project management and setting up and managing major company transformation. His last role was Heading up the Program for the A320 Family between 2000 and 2006. During these years he has taken the program from delivering 20 to 32 per month and setting up the capability to deliver up to 40 aircraft per month during the ups and downs of the industry between 2001 and 2003. He is currently heading up the future programs activities for AIRBUS, which will prepare the organization and products for the next generation of aircraft following on from the A380.
Ian will present the new challenges AIRBUS now faces in assessing and re-engineering project management processes in view of all future programs.
