Michael has been in Human Resources with a particular focus on organisation development for most of his working career. He was Programme Director for General Management, Strategy and HR programmes with the Management Centre Europe, based in Brussels. He moved on to Motorola as an Organisation Development consultant and became Director of Motorola University (EMEA) then Director of Leadership, Learning and Performance for the same region. He went on to work with Interbrew as Global Vice President Organisation Development and Learning, based in Leuven in Belgium.
He is currently Executive Development and Succession Planning Director for VT Group plc, since February 2006. In that role he has focused on building a robust and embedded Talent Management process and is implementing a coaching culture in conjunction with the Henley Management College and Roffey Park Institute. He also covers the graduate management programme that is linked to Talent Management strategy across the VT Group. The other area he is working on is the development of key organisational competencies across the VT Group.
