European Commission - DIGIT, e-Commission, Interoperability, Architecture and Methods
Giorgos Georgiannakis is working in the European Commission where he has been responsible for the establishment and maintenance of methodologies for project management and development of information systems since 2006. He has extensive experience as project manager, auditor and coach for software development projects and systems. As a consultant he has worked for more than 10 years for a number of industries and business such as telecoms, banking and financing, pharmaceuticals, retailing and governmental organizations.
He received a BS and MS in Computer Science from the University of Crete, Greece and he holds an MBA from Solvay Business School, VUB, Belgium.
