Mr. Kourounakis is an Adjunct Professor at the Hellenic American University in Athens, Greece, where he teaches courses in Project Management, Portfolio Management, and Value Chain Management, in the MBA and PMBA programs. As a consultant, he has worked in many international projects in Canada, United States, Ireland, Belgium, Austria and Greece. He specializes in project management training and consulting, with emphasis on Project Portfolio Management and Organizational Project Management Maturity. He is also involved with PMI’s local chapter in Athens, where as an elected member of the Board of Directors he serves as the Vice President for Membership and Recruitment. Mr. Kourounakis holds an MBA from McGill University, Montreal, Canada, an MSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Victoria, Canada, and a B.Sc. in Physics from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. He is also a PMI-certified OPM3 Assessor and consultant, a PMI-certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and an IPMA-certified Project Manager Level-D.
