Marcus Possi

Keynote Speaker

Director of Ecthos CD-Brazil and Spider Team Office Rio de Janeiro

Marcus Possi is a Project Management specialist with Fundação Getúlio Vargas - Rio de Janeiro, and currently consults lectures and writes the application of traditional CPM methodology in electrical plants and similar engineering projects. With a degree in electrical engineering and over 25 years on experience in power plants, he has shared his time with Standard National Technical Committees and study groups. He also has presented several case studies in both project management and electrical solutions during the last 15 years. Responsible for the development of graduate courses in project management and electrical engineering, he has written 14 project management books, including MS Project 2003 to 2010, Primavera 3.1, and Spider Project 2009 to 2010, detaching the use of techniques and not only its theory for project management. His last work, the Spider Project critical and limited resources tool as a solution form to project management, was translated into English by a local volunteer PMI group, since there was no published literature on this particular subject. Marcus Possi is a member of the Project Management Institute, and has worked there as a volunteer since 2003.
